It’s often been said that hitting a baseball is one of the most difficult skills in all of sports.

Let's look at it this way. You have a pitcher throwing a ball at you at any speed he wants. He/She is allowed to make the ball move any way he can. He doesn't have to tell you what he's about to throw. The batter gets a skinny piece of wood/metal to hit the ball with. To make matters worse, you have to hit it between the lines for it to be fair. Oh yea, for good measure there are nine guys strategically placed on the field to catch the ball to help insure your failure.

Line Drive Baseball/Softball Academy is a brand new state-of-the-art 12,000 square foot, air-conditioned, indoor facility located right in the middle of downtown Chino Hills. Line Drive has 8 batting cages to choose from. There are cages available for individual rental, or for teams that want to conduct their practice. Each cage has its own L-Screen if you would like to throw your own batting practice or you can use the Jugs pitching machine provided in each cage.

Line Drive specializes in individual or group lessons for the players that want to take their game to the next level. Line Drive Academy has skilled professional baseball instructors and softball instructors. We do periodic defensive skills training as well as weeklong camps when the kids are out of school.

We have instructors available to teach whatever it is that you want to learn. Hitting, Pitching, Defensive training is offered for either baseball or softball.

Line Drive Baseball/Softball Academy also has a 1,400 square foot Strength, Agility and Fitness area available. Coach Mike Cianciola is highly trained and educated strength and fitness coach. He runs SCFI (Strength, Conditioning and Fitness Institute) right inside the air-conditioned walls of Line Drive Academy.
